The era of "have you tried turning it off and on again?" is almost behind us (we keep it in reserve, just in case). These are cautionary tales from the more trying days: the outages, the near misses and the suppliers who vanished overnight. Each one comes with the lesson we now pass on to our clients every day.

We never name the clients involved, and we leave out any detail that could identify them.
